Privacy Policy

This policy is for churches, pastors, worship teams, and the people they shepherd.

Who we are. CrossOS is the digital operating system offered at this site. When a church creates a house on CrossOS, that church is the controller of its ministry data. CrossOS is the processor.

What we collect. Account names and emails for sign-in. Church profile and public site copy. Member directory records the church chooses to keep. Giving amounts, funds, and donor names as entered by the church. Sermons, courses, events, volunteer shifts, and messages submitted through public forms. Technical logs needed to keep the service running. Cookie preferences you set on this marketing site.

Member data. Households, pastoral notes, prayer requests, and attendance-adjacent records belong to the church. CrossOS staff do not browse a church’s people for marketing. Access is limited to keeping the service available, at the church’s request, or as required by law.

Giving data. Gifts are routed through the church’s connected processor. CrossOS stores fund, amount, and donor name so the church can receipt and report. We do not sell giving data. We do not use it to advertise.

Church data ownership. The church owns its directory, gifts, sermons, pages, and letters. You may export them. If you close the house, we delete or return records on the schedule in the Terms, except where law requires a longer hold.

Children. CrossOS is not directed at children under 13. Churches that record minors’ names in a directory do so under their own pastoral and legal duty.

Your rights. Depending on where you live (including California and the EEA/UK), you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal data, and you may object to certain processing. For data a church holds about you as a member, contact that church first — they are the controller. For data we hold as the marketing site (a trial form, a cookie choice), write privacy@crossos.app.
